Anomaly President Beginner Day/Night Loop
A safe first-run decision order built around the game’s confirmed campaign, combat, Bus, Fluffy, and permanent-progression systems.

The loop in one minute
Anomaly President asks you to live two connected lives. During the day, you run a presidential campaign and work on winning voters. At night, you fight the gangs and brainwashed fanatics serving the Evil President. Between those tasks, the Campaign Bus, your Fluffies, weapons, Anomaly Powers, and permanent upgrades decide what the next attempt can do.
Treat those systems as one loop rather than five separate menus:
- Choose the campaign task. Decide whether your immediate need is voter support, a new activity, or more campaign income.
- Prepare the Bus. Add rooms that unlock the activity or economy path you actually intend to use.
- Assign your Fluffies. Put help into campaigning, equipment work, or combat according to the bottleneck you just identified.
- Enter the night route. Use weapons and Anomaly Powers to handle mixed enemy groups and reach the next major fight.
- Spend permanent progress. Use the branch that improves the system holding back the next attempt.
Day: build a campaign purpose
Daytime is not downtime. Dancing, presents, and speeches are campaign actions, while the Marketing Room opens additional campaign-map areas that can generate revenue. Before building a room, decide which of those outcomes matters now.
If you want a minigame, start with the room that unlocks it. If you need a wider campaign economy, read the Campaign Bus room guide before spending.
Between tasks: use the Bus and team together
The Bus is a mobile base assembled room by room. Fluffies can support election work, equipment improvement, and combat, so a room plan without a team plan is only half a plan. Fluffies also need care; neglect can cause them to leave or die.
Use the Fluffy role guide to match a role to the job you are trying to finish.
Night: solve the encounter in front of you
The weapon roster is designed around different kinds of attacks. One detailed example is the Kusarigama: its reach and crowd control help against groups, but it can feel slow in a one-on-one fight. The game also supports carrying two weapons, which makes switching tools part of the combat decision.
Anomaly Powers add another layer. Bosses have unique powers, and defeating them can add those powers to your options. Start with the weapons guide and Anomaly Powers guide before chasing an unsupported “best build.”
After the run: buy for the next bottleneck
The permanent progression interface is split into Bus, Blacksmith, Medical, and Anomaly Lab branches. Pick the branch that matches the weakness you noticed in the last loop, then inspect connected nodes and their costs before unlocking.
The permanent progression guide explains what can be read from the interface without pretending the full node database is already complete.
First-run checklist
- Name one campaign goal before building a room.
- Match Fluffy work to that goal.
- Carry combat tools for the encounter type, not a generic ranking.
- Treat boss powers as another build layer.
- Spend permanent resources on a problem you actually encountered.
