What Anomaly Powers do

Anomaly Powers sit on top of weapon combat. Different bosses carry unique powers, and defeating those bosses can let you acquire their power. Powers can then be developed toward a playstyle, including elemental enhancement.

That means a build has at least two separate questions:

  • Which weapon handles spacing, crowds, or a duel?
  • Which power adds the effect or attack pattern the weapon does not provide?

Confirmed examples

Heart power

The president’s public-relations chief is associated with the Heart power, which makes people fall in love with its user. The demo’s first major encounter put the Minister of Public Relations and the Abomination together, making this the clearest named boss-power relationship in the launch material.

Dual-directional shooting

A pre-release combat preview showed a dual-directional shooting ability in a “Range Weapon Attack” category. It is an example of a power changing attack coverage rather than simply replacing a weapon.

Elemental development

The same preview described developing powers and adding elemental damage. It also planned at least 20 different powers. Because that was a pre-release target, this guide does not present 20 as a guaranteed current catalog size.

A safe build method

  1. Pick the weapon job first: crowd control, reach, or a close duel.
  2. Add a power that covers a missing direction, range, or effect.
  3. Watch how the power behaves against the actual enemy group.
  4. Invest only after you know which part of the combination did the work.

This method is slower than copying a tier list, but it does not depend on unpublished cooldowns or guessed scaling.

What is not a complete power database yet

The current evidence does not support a full public table of power names, source bosses, cooldowns, status effects, upgrades, combinations, or exact elemental values. Those fields remain out of the page instead of being filled with estimates.
